Pesto alla Genovese

Ingredients for 5 persons:

100 gr of basil leaves;
30 gr of pine nuts;
2 cloves of garlic ;
pinch of salt;
40 gr of parmesan cheese;
200 ml extra-virgin olive oil.

   

Mix together the basil, garlic, pean nuts and salt  until you obtain a smooth cream. Then put the cream in a terrine and add the parmesan, already grated, and the olive oil mixing everything slowly. Add salt if necessary.

Finally you can enjoy it with pasta!
